Seeking Equine Veterinarian to join our progressive group practice

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced equine veterinarian who has completed an internship, or equivalent experience in clinical equine practice to join us at our well-established Campbellville practice.

About the Opportunity

This position is ideal for a veterinarian looking to practice a balanced mix of pleasure and sport horse medicine, lameness, dentistry, reproduction and emergency care in a collaborative group practice.

The successful candidate is a confident professional with excellent communication skills who has a high level of self-awareness and a strong desire to be part of a supportive and highly collaborative team. Applicants should understand that patient care is only part of their role and should see the value in building trust-based relationships with horse owners and trainers by giving them peace of mind in their decisions about the health and wellness of their horses.

Our competitive compensation package offers the following:

· A true 4 Day Work Week

· Shared on call averaging 1 evening per week and 1 weekend per month.

· Above average salary (not based on production, we value a collaborative veterinary team)

· 100% of after-hours client emergency fees paid to you

· 3 weeks’ vacation + extra day off for each weekend on call equals an average of 28 total paid days off per year, on top of your 4 Day Work Week days off

Working in Canada

In Ontario, veterinarians who have graduated from a NAVLE accredited University and passed the NAVLE within two attempts will be granted a full veterinary license. We also have the option to apply for an equine-restricted license for graduates of non-accredited NAVLE universities who have extensive equine experience.
